My legs are so sored. 

This morning anh Bao drove us (Hong-An, Quen, and me) to San Rafael (about 2 hours away) for our annual hike.  This is my second time, and we’re making it a tradition to hike here every summer.  When we were in San Rafael, anh Bao had to stop by his Ducati store.  Hong-An, Quen, and I all felt out of place in there haha.  But boyy those bikes are pretty sick.  How cool would it be if I could ride one.  **keep on daydreaming**

Be one with nature.  We stopped by the same town in Point Reyes to get lunch.  I absolutely love smoked salmon.  The duck pate was pretty good too.  I wanted to try the rabbit pate, but it was about $20 per pound.  After our little ’picnic’, we went to the Bear Valley Trail close by.  We started our hike at exactly 2PM.  The hike seemed surprisingly shorter (or rather faster) due to the nice cool weather.  Our first and only stop was at the open field (1.5 mi–1/3 of the way) where the restrooms were.  The rest of hike was pretty long, and I basically power walked for the remaining 2.5 mi because I was anxious to get to the top.  We finally reached our destination at around 4PM.

We were on that cliff for a while just taking in the fresh air.  The sight was worth all that walking.  At 4:40PM, we started heading back.  Everywhere you go, the trip back is always the toughest.  Our feet and thighs were in pain as we hiked uphill.  We took more breaks and complained more often.  I think we finally got out of the trail at 7PM.  We were all dead in the car.  We didn’t get back to Sacramento until 9PM.  Our original plan was to watch The Dark Knight, but we decided to have dinner at HK Wok instead.  Oh sweet marinated duck tongues…
